After receiving his fellowship training in Nephrology from Baylor College of Medicine, he completed a fellowship in Transplantation at Houston Methodist Hospital. Named “Find-A-Top Doc” for Nephrology in 2024, Dr. Khaja is actively involved with the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) and serves as a board member on NKF Serving Texas.
