Dr. Billy Gilbert joined Renal Specialists of Houston in 2010 after completing a fellowship in Nephrology at Baylor College of Medicine. Dedicated to promoting local community awareness of kidney disease, he is a five-time recipient of Top Doctors Award, and in 2024 was listed in Top Doctors of America Honors Edition. Dr. Gilbert practices predominantly in the Medical Center and North Houston region. He is also medical director of Fresenius Kidney Care North Houston and Northeast dialysis facilities, and he serves as Home Therapies Champion for the Houston region.
